| International Polysaccharide Engineering was founded in October 2003 as
a venture company out of Osaka Prefecture University to do consulting,
research and development of biotechnology products. Primarily, we design highly functional biopolymers such as polysaccharides, do research and development on low-energy raw materials for biodegradable plastics, develop healthy foods and do research on structural analysis and determination of polysaccharide and oligosaccharide compounds. In addition, we conduct lectures featuring other university specialists, advise on product development and improvement, plan corporate strategy meetings and create new business models. |
